Today has been overcast and rainy for most of the day. I did however get to seek in a 6 mile-rain-free-run with a very good friend of mine whose name also happens to be Kaitlin! Maybe thats why I like her so much? Jk One of the good things about days like this is that they offer lots of time to stay inside and work on projects...such as...our new pot rack! My wonderful husband had a brillant idea to make one out of an old ladder. So, we did exactly that.
1st: We found an old ladder at a local antique store for $40 and cut it in half.
2nd: Mike sanded it and I mean REALLY sanded it.
3rd:We bought the hard ware for it (chains, hooks and wire hangers)
4th: He stained and lacquered it.
5th: We assembled!
